I couldn’t resist doing a little watercoloring with the new Pretty Peonies set. This set is so easy to use. With the coordinating individual blooms you can stamp and color the flowers to create endless arrangements. For my card today, I was happy to merely stamp the lovely larger bloom in Silver Pearl Embossing Powder and watercolor.

I kept the card simple and added only the SugarCut Hello word die as my sentiment, cut the watercolor panel with the scalloped and stitched die from SugarCut Card Front Element Builder and finally accented with a few crystal sequins.

Good morning! Ardyth here with this week’s Light Bulb Moment – some sweet, last-minute Valentines!

If you find yourself rushed at the last minute, these little valentines are perfect for your kids to take to school!

Each card is 3×3 and has a fun interactive surprise which will make these designs very popular with the school-age set!

Every Day is Christmas is one of my all time favourite SugarPea sets (so far – don’t forget that Sweet Peeks for the next release start next week!!). It has the most adorable, whimsical images and a fun coordinating sentiment set. I pull it out often when making kids’ cards.

I started by colouring my little critters with copics and cutting them with the co-ordinating dies.

The show-frog has a mini-wobbler behind him and the ballerina-pig is on a string so that she can twirl.

Here’s a quick photo-video of the process:

Hello!  It’s Amy Tsuruta here sharing a couple of cards with you today!  I live in the lovely state of Washington and it has been raining quite a bit.  I decided to go tropical today to combat all the dreary weather!

I don’t know about you but I never tire of tropical print.  I began with green and pink cardstock.  I stamped Tropic Like It’s Hot on the pink cardstock with various inks.  I used the SugarCut – Coffee To Go Cup, trying to include as much of the stamping per cup as possible.  The frames in the SugarCut – Birthday Journal Card are perfect!  I finished off my card with a patterned ribbon.

Here’s my other version.  It’s been a bit stepped up since I added a coffee bean embossing folder that I had in my stash.  I decided to go with a plain black ribbon to balance the design.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope this brought a bit of sunshine in your corner!

Hello and welcome friends! It’s Kelly here today and I am thrilled to be back again with yet another fun Valentine’s Day idea! Love is DEFINITELY in the air!

I decided to use  Off the Charts stamp set as the jumping point for my design today! I just love how clever this set is, don’t you? I played off of the “chart” theme again, like I did when this set was released. I created a simple clipboard piece using Kraft paper and a jumbo clip. I stamped the grid image onto a piece of white card stock using black in.

I also used a piece of lined paper from the Sugar and Spice Pattern Paper pad, which has been so versatile for many different projects. This particular piece had a border of apples around it as well as an apple image, but I just trimmed it off and used the lined portion which is PERFECT for my chart theme! It also gave me the perfect straight line for the “Our life together” sentiment, which is stamped in black ink.

The penguins, another one of my favorites, are from the Eskimo Kisses stamp set and they are just the perfect pair to accent my love themed card! I stamped them in black ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I added a little bit of white detailing to their scarves for some added detail using a white gelly roll pen. After they were colored, I die cut them using the Eskimo Kisses Sugar Cuts.

The cute couple is adhered to the card using foam squares. The “off the chart” sentiment is heat embossed using white powder for crispness and definition. The “Love” and “Laughter” graph bars are stamped in pink and red ink and adhered to the card using more foam squares. I also added a few snowflakes fluttering around the penguins. They are also from the Eskimo Kisses stamp set and are the perfect detail for all of you winter themed projects! I hope you find some time to pull out some of your stamps and make some cards for your loved ones!

Hi everyone! Welcome to SugarPea Designs blog! Hope you are having a wonderful and creative day!

It’s Raluca here and I’m excited to be back with a new card showcasing another absolutely adorable stamp set: This Little Piggy and it’s coordinating dies SugarCut – This Little Piggy.

The images in this set are super cute and you can create some amazing scenes for them.

I started my card by coloring and die cutting two little piggies and a few little flowers from the set. Next I cut a small white panel and created a sky using a DIY cloud stencil and a blue ink pad. Then I cut a hill, colored it green and mounted it to the sky panel.

I prepared a white card base and mounted the smaller panel on it using craft foam. After I stamped a sentiment from the set on a white strip of cardstock, I mounted all my colored images and the sentiment to the card using foam tape.

As a final step I added a few clear sequins on the card and Wink of Stella all over the images and my card was done.

I had a lot of fun playing with this sweet stamp set and I really hope that I inspired you to play with some SugarPea Designs goodies.

Good morning! Ardyth here with this week’s Light Bulb Moment!

I love to look at my stamps and dies and try to think of different ways to use them. This rainbow (from Whatever the Weather SugarCuts) makes a perfect circular backrop for my sparkly thanks sentiment.

I started by cutting the rainbow twice. Instead of cutting from coloured cardstock, I cut from white and then coloured the strips with Copic markers.

To make it easier to position all those little strips, I cut a circle from Beautiful Baubles (The stitching works perfectly with the rainbow strips!) and put glue on it, to give my rainbow colours some place sticky to land.

I then cut my sentiment three times (two in black, one in sparkly sliver) and stacked them up for dimension. If you look very closely, you can see the seam between the two rainbows between the letters, but I think it’s all right. If you prefer, you could use a label die to cover that up and provide a base for your sentiment.

My gray panel is from Birthday Journal Card and also features stitching. I love that SugarPea products work so well together!

Welcome to today’s Design Team Feature! It’s Amy here with you today, and I’ve got a clean and simple baby card for your today featuring the SugarCut – Welcome Baby Accents onesie die.

My baby card is for twins, so I die cut two of the onesies and then stamped each with a star and the twin sentiment from Welcome Baby. I also used a sentiment from the same set, simply stamped in black ink.

To add a pop of color to my design, I stamped a strip of aqua cardstock with the the Striped Background stamp and placed it directly below the onesies to ground them and emphasize the sentiment as well.

Thanks so much for stopping by the SugarPea Designs blog today. I hope I’ve inspired your next clean and simple design. Have a sweet day!

~Amy
