Hello friends!

It’s Juliana and I’m super excited to be here to share some SugarPea Designs inspiration with you. Today, I’m sharing a fun layered Thank You card I created with the gorgeous Mandala Stamp. This stamp has been a favorite of mine since it’s release and I hope you enjoy my take on using it to create this card.

To get started, I stamped the Mandala with Versamark Embossing Ink 4 times onto two different shades of teal cardstock. I then sprinkled each image with white embossing powder and heat set it using a heat gun.

Next is the fun part…fussy cutting! Using some fine tipped scissors, I followed the design on the Mandala to trim out 4 different layers. As I trimmed each layer, I alternated colors so that they would layer dark and light.

With the fussy cutting complete, I used double sided foam adhesive to adhere each layer and give them a bit of dimension. As you can see, I layered the images by alternating between the darker and lighter shades of cardstock. For the tiny edge pieces I used a liquid glue to adhere them to the card front.

For the final touch, I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Sentiments You Stamp Set with Versamark Embossing Ink onto a strip of the darker shade of teal. I then sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set it with a heat gun.

I love how this card turned out and I think it would be so fun to create a set of them in different colors. Can’t you just see one in pink and then another one in green? I hope you enjoyed learning how to  created this layered card using the Mandala Stamp Set.
