Visit the fair any time of the year with SugarCut – CarnivalScape. This beautiful stand alone die from our Sweet Chic Collection offers plenty of fun and whimsical details from a circus tent, ferris wheel, concession stand, carousel and more.  Designed so that the left AND the right ends of the die match up, allowing you to cut a continuous but different orientation of the scene.  This charming border die also has no cutting lines along the bottom edge – giving you the ability to cut this CarnivalScape design to any desired width size.

Heart-Blog-Seperater

The ready made scenes in each of our Patterned Paper Collections always seem to be my favorite.  The carnival scene is an exact match to our SugarCut – CarnivalScape die – which makes creating layers such a breeze.

SugarPea-Designs---Life-Is-A-Carnival-by-Wendy-Ramlakhan

I created a quick and simple card with loads of depth and dimension.  I used the SugarCut – CarnivalScape die to cut the ferris wheel out of one sheet and then layered it on top of the second.  I then added glitter on each of the buckets of the ferris wheel for a little sparkle.

I stamped my sentiment from Storybook Circus and then a second time on clouds created with the SugarCut – Whatever The Weather die set.  The sun (also from the SugarCut – Whatever The Weather die set) was created with the star paper from the Life Is A Carnival paper pad.

These are all so sweet. What I like most about the Circus is watching the young children’s faces! They are always in awe of the “magic” they see around them.

These are all so cute. They remind me of Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus. Sadly, after 140 years their last show will be in May of this year.

What fun it is to remember going to the circus. What a great release to bring out the inner kid in all of us. I think this is a winner.

Oh, how I wish that I could go one more time.

When I was a little girl, my sister and I always spent a week on my cousins farm. We always went during fair/carnival week and every night we would go. Oh what fun! And when we got back home, we would sleep on the big screened in front porch and from there we could see the farris wheel still turning. Oh the memories this set brings to me. That was 60 years ago!

What wonderful new products that bring back memories of when I was a child. We have a local Spring Fair that we go to each year here in our little town. Such fun, amazing projects by the DT.

Smiling all over my face in seeing this jam-packed circus themed set! My favourite aspects of carnivals: the atmosphere of excitement and joy that can be sensed everywhere…and, of course, the mini donuts! Amazing DT showcases!

I went to carnivals more than circuses as a child, but what I enjoyed most were the games. Never won abything big, but just kept trying.
This is such a fun theme and the DT did a fabulous job.

This circus set is adorable! I love the border die, CarnivalScape, too! SugarPea makes the best border dies like these without a doubt. I love the Nativity one from Christmas and it’s special because of what it represents. Today’s CarnivalScape is pure cuteness! Simonne’s cards made with it are fabulous!

My favorite thing about the circus was always getting to see the elephants. Elephants are amazing creatures and it breaks my heart to hear that they may have been abused in the past.

I used to take my daughter to the carnival when she was small. I loved seeing her face when the animals would come out and do their tricks. She loved the dogs. And, of course, there was cotton candy. Really fun stamp set and accessories.

Love the circus set and the cards are so cute and creative. The fun of the circus for me was watching my children have fun and then my grandchildren. Sad that Ringling Brothers is closing after so many years and so many smiles.

I used to enjoy the rides and games but now as I am older I enjoy the animals and the people. The first time(a long time ago) I went to a circus was Madison Square Gardens to see Ringling Brothers…. It was amazing. Cute circus set and the details on the die are great.

Oh wow I love love love the dies. And that paper! Awesome set today! I like lots of things about the carnival – the ferris wheel, watching the people, being outside on a warm summer night, the greasy corndogs, the ice cream, the lemonaid, hearing the vendors shout at people to try the games.. but…. I guess I’d say the carnival doughnuts are my favorite – Yum!

EEEEK!!!! I absolutely adore the images, the dies, the sentiments, the fonts everything about this set. I have had a few circus related items in my stash lying unopened for years now. It would give me the opportunity to dust them off and put them to good use (finally) !!!!
